ENG 385: Best Alternative Project

Tori is currently a junior majoring in forensic psychology with an interest in joining the FBI in the future to become a criminal profiler. As of right now, she is in the academy working to become an emergency medical technician with the FDNY. Tori has always always been an extremely determined person, working to go above and beyond in everything she does. Though when taking a step back, she realized that her mental health was something that was way more important to prioritize than this unrealistic expectation of perfection that she held was. After taking an independent study that allowed her to redirect her thoughts in a more positive direction, she wrote her essay titled, “Perfecting the Art of Imperfection”, where she exhibited the ups and downs that came with this journey of finding who she really was outside of this bubble that she created for herself.
