John Jay e-Portfolio Showcase Award Nominees
Writers in English 101, English 201, and many other English courses are required to create an e-portoflio of their projects. The e-portfolio is not just a digital version of a file cabinet folder to deposit their work; rather, the students are taught how the e-portoflio is itself a text of its own. Faculty teach the students about digital rhetoric to compose their e-portfolio with design, composition, and graphics in mind. As a result, each year the e-portfolios the students create are featured as nominees in the John Jay College e-portoflio showcase.
