Henry’s bio:

When Henry was a junior in Whitestone’s creative writing class a few years ago, Whitestone encouraged him to craft his gritty story into a personal essay for his law school applications. Henry took the risk to write about his father’s death by gunshot and about how his mother then lost their home because of some obscure real estate tax law. And Henry’s risk-of-an-essay paid off with a full ride to law school.

At Pitt Law, Henry chose to specialize in taxation, determined to work toward changing some of the laws that are hurting low income families. He was awarded publication of a 39 page tax brief, graduated from Pitt Law, and became an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan—the most competitive DA’s office in the country.
