Alyssa Cruz

Cruz’s bio:

Alyssa Cruz is a 19-year-old Filipino/American who is a sophomore student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). Alyssa Cruz's major is called Humanities and Justice. Alyssa's dream is to pursue law one day to study women's rights. Alyssa has strong academic interests in cultural diversity, literature, and law. Alyssa has many passions such as dancing (more specifically hip hop), going on city adventures, listening to music, and writing. Alyssa started writing more in her journal in her freshman year of High School and now she continues to do so when she is commuting on the ferry and during her free time. Outside of school, Alyssa spends a lot of her quality time with her family in Staten Island. Alyssa also loves Marvel and anime. In Alyssa's e-portfolio, viewers catch a glimpse of how she incorporates her favorite pop-culture interests into her academic work for her ENG225 class with Professor McCormack. Viewers would also get a chance to see her hard-working personality which enhances through her work and the pictures she chose for her background. Alyssa Cruz hopes that viewers enjoy her e-portfolio and she is extremely thankful for the opportunity to present her work once again.
