Luciana Batkay

Batkay’s Bio:

Luciana Batkay is a graduating senior majoring in Law and Society, with a certificate in Dispute Resolution. She is the co-founder and current President of a student organization on campus named Legally Conscious that hosts honest and open conversations amongst students on current topics/events to explore the relationship we have as a society with legal institutions, the law, etc. Luciana plans to go to law school in hopes of one day working to fix the prison system and find substantial alternatives to the many punitive systems in our country. In her free time, you can find Luciana sucked into a sci-fi fantasy novel, pestering her cat, or binging Netflix shows.
