Jillian Flam

Flam’s bio:

Jillian is a first-year student at John Jay. She was born in Brooklyn, grew up in Florida, and moved back to New York after high school. Jillian is majoring in criminology in hopes of pursuing a career as a criminal intelligence analyst or a victim advocate. (She is still deciding.) But her end goal is to know she made a difference at some point in her life, no matter what that may be. In her ENG 101 class, Jillian wrote her inquiry essay on her own personal experience with Selective Mutism. Her story is something she never thought she would share with anyone—until now.
