Jimenez’s bio:

Matthew Jimenez is a 20-year-old sophomore at CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He majors in Criminal Justice BS with a minor in Financial Forensics. Matthew is a proud Dominican who was born and raised in the best borough in New York, the Bronx (not up for debate). Matthew aspires to pursue criminal justice in the ATF, FBI, Homeland Security, or NYPD. He also dreams of possibly going on the path of SWAT or Firefighting in the future. Matthew is passionate about graphic design, singing, gaming, music, and cinema. Matthew’s English 101 ePortfolio consists of a few of Matthew’s favorite musical artists and their beautiful album artwork. Matthew establishes his love of music with a medley of genres and art styles from well-established artists. Matthew’s personality exudes throughout his ePortfolio while also corresponding to the theme of his ENG 101 course, which focuses on the new digital era, where new technological advancements are discovered every day. These new advancements change the way everyone goes about completing their everyday tasks, changing their way of life. Matthew conveys how natural conventions are now shaped by the experiences collected through digital practices in this day and age in his ePortfolio. Because Matthew expressed his passion for graphic design through his ePorfolio, he was granted the opportunity to work with Digication ePortfolio at John Jay to help others navigate the website and guide others to have as great of an experience as he’s had on the platform. Matthew is grateful for the opportunity to share his work.
